She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Marie Mensing (Ehlers) and Walter Mensing; her sister Janet Kerns; her niece Amy Kerns; and her nephew Mark Rueh.
She is survived by: her husband Keith Schaffner; her children, Lynette Weible (John Weible), Lowell Schaffner (Victoria Crocker) and Lavon Whitby (Doug Whitby); her grandchildren, Derek Weible, Mattingly Weible, Nathaniel Whitby, Zoey Whitby, James Whitby, Ada Schaffner and Soren Schaffner; her siblings, Barbara Rueh (Don Rueh), Betty DeVries, Bruce Mensing (Di Mensing) and Connie Slade (Richard Slade); and her brother-in-law Jon Kerns. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bittiker Funeral Home (1201 US-65, Carrollton, MO 64633). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Utica Cemetery Association and may be left at Bittiker Funeral Homes.
