He is survived by: his children, Julee West (Chad) of Clark, MO, Casey Forbis of Hallsville, MO and Jason Forbis of San Francisco, CA; his grandchildren, Parker West (Jill) of Salisbury, MO, Garrett West of Clark, MO, Rylee West of Clark, MO and Paxton Cole Lenger of Hallsville, MO; his great grandchild Baylis Lee West of Salisbury, MO.; and his siblings, Linda Baker (Dean) of Columbia, MO, Libby Amos (Jay) of Platte City, MO and Denny Forbis (Pam) of LaVernia. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery (1479 County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 65260).
