He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Foster and Irene Foster (Schlup). He is survived by: his children, Sharron Toops of Arizona, John Foster, Jr. (Sandy) of Hallsville, Richard Foster (Mary) of Hallsville and Christine Walters (Ron) of Hallsville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
The military honors was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (1479 County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 65260).
