She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Elkin and Elsie Davenport (Myers); her husband James "Jay" Sims; her sister Vicky Jo Sims; and her brother-in-law Estill Proctor.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Chick (Stacy) of Hallsville and Tracy Griffin (Dennis) of Ashland; her grandchildren, Zane T. Chick, Dustin Griffin (Katie), Faryn Riley (Dylan) and Gunner Griffin; and her siblings, Monica Lou Proctor and Bruce Elkin Davenport II. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home (104 S Collier St, Centralia, MO 65240). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Red Rock Cemetery.
