The passing of Thelma Marie Reed of Hallsville, Missouri leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 80. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Thelma shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Thelma farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Tremaine and Lillie Tremaine (Nowlin); her brother-in-law Carl "Nenie" Nichols; and her grandson Michael Chandlee. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Reed (Lori) and Julie Chandlee (Gary); and her sister Margaret Nichols. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Park Lane Community Church (11700 N Rte B, Hallsville, MO 65255). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Final Resting Place Memorial Park Cemetery - Columbia (1217 Business Loop 70 E, Columbia, MO 65202).
Memorial contributions are suggested to The S.A.B.'s Club, to help keep the girls busy and having fun, or to Park Lane Community Church.
