We announce the death of Eleanor Sarah Bowery of Hamilton, Missouri, who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 96. Eleanor will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Eleanor will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Eleanor will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Eleanor’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Eugene and Ruth Francis (Everett); her spouse Jackie Junior Bowery; her son Robert Dale Bowery; and her brothers, Paul, Roland, David and Hubert Francis.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell D. Bowery (Rhonda) of Pleasant View, TN, Carol G. Smith of Overland Park, KS and Sarah R. Bowery (Glennie Peery) of Breckenridge, MO. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Bram Funeral Home (208 E School St, Hamilton, MO 64644). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Kingston Cemetery.
