He was predeceased by: his father Warren Eugene; and his brother-in-law Rolo Heuett. He is survived by: his mother Vera Lea Curtis Griffin; his wife Patsy (Patsy); his children, Sherri Kelsall, Jolene Giles (Andy), Lea Ann Boyle (Kellon) and Freddie Griffin, Jr. (Shelby); his siblings, Vickie Heuett, Kathy Jenkins (Mike) and Frank Griffin (Sue); and his grandchildren, Justin Chaney, Tegan Kelsall (Hannah Gilpin), Gaven Kelsall (Lacee Abner), Kaylea Page (Garrett), Kera Boyle, Kerryn Boyle, Kinlea Griffin, Sadie Sager, Mark Griffin, Matthew Griffin, Jack Griffin and Amelia Griffin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (310 N Hwy 65, Trenton, MO 64683). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials to either his grandchildren's education fund, St. Jude's Children Hospital or National Wild Turkey Federation.
