She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Smith and Eva Smith (Darling); her husband Ralph Eli; and her sisters, Eileen Calvert and Roberta Howard.

She is survived by : her children, Gordon Kirby (Sally) of Hamilton, Missouri, Robert Blades of Hamilton, Missouri, George Blades of Hamilton, Missouri, Jim Blades (DeAnn) of Hamilton, Missouri, Ralph Blades of Hamilton, Missouri, John Blades (Shellie), Ruth Bashford, Annette Burnett (Mark) and Mary Toney (Steve). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
