We announce the death of Arlene M Wood of Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 86. Arlene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Bolte and Margaret Bolte (Wiedmann); her husband Orville Wood; and her sisters, Doris, Kathleen and Joan.
She is survived by: her son Curt Wood (Cheryl) of New London, Missouri; her grandchildren, Melissa Mitchell (Dallas) of Seligman and A. J. Wood of New London, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Caroline, James Mitchell and Isabella Wood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children in St. Louis, Missouri, in care of the funeral home.
