He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Dempsey and Jacklyn Fay Ellis Charlton. He is survived by: his adoptive daughter Nikita Travis; his siblings, Franklin D. Charlton, Debbie Taylor, Clifford Charlton and Angela Walls (Donnie); his close friends, Gary, Curtis, Jennifer, Tonya, John and Stacy; and his pet Snickers. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
