He is survived by: his mother Eddie Jean Ellis of Sikeston; his wife Patricia Strickland Ellis of Hannibal; his children, Octavia Larise Smith of Hannibal, Shanice La'Shai Strickland of Hannibal, Montell Lee Strickland of Hannibal and Markell Lamont Strickland of Hannibal; his grandchildren, Braison Buckley of Hannibal, Adonis Burnley of Hannibal, Ahlyric King of Hannibal, Ava King of Hannibal, Amealyiah Bates of Hannibal and Kemon Hicks of Hannibal; and his siblings, Rosemary Ellis of Sikeston, Willie Ellis Jr. (Devonna) of Cape Girardeau, Robert Lee Ellis of Cape Girardeau and Patrick Ellis (Tracy) of Sikeston, Missouri. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, coworkers.
