Carmen Lynn Tate Obituary
We announce the death of Carmen Lynn Tate of Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 62. Carmen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Tate and Martha McGruder Tate; her brothers, Chuck McGruder and Bruce Tate; and her nephew Lenny Clark II.
She is survived by: her siblings, Milton McGruder (Vicki), Carlita Tate (David) and Beatrice Clark (Lenny); her aunts, Georgia Clark, Sherri Riding and Sue Abbey; her close friends, Kathy King, Michelle Conley and Theresa Carey; and her niece Kali. She is also survived by several other aunt and uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home (302 S 5th St, Hannibal, MO 63401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
