He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Kent (Cale) of Hannibal, MO, Casey Yakes-Langen (John), Brandon Yakes and Derek Yakes; his brothers, Ronald Foster, Stanley Foster (Cara), William "Doug" Yakes and Tim Yakes; his siblings' children, Nicole Tutor (Daniel), Krista Saben, Michael Yakes and Aaron Yakes (Trisha); and his grandchildren, Eleanor Langen, Riley Langen, Brady Langen, Colby Langen, Jacob Kent and Kaston Kent.
