He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Edward and Lottie Mae Hamilton (Epperson); his wife Juanita Jean Brown; and his siblings, Floyd, Dale, Jerd, Harold Hamilton and Helen Ruth Pressler.
He is survived by: his brother John W. Hamilton (Edie); his sister-in-law Joan Hamilton; his children, Jeana Mundle (Butch), Jackie Hamilton (Donna) and Larry Hamilton (Julie); his grandchildren, Michelle Acree (Jim), Christopher Mundle (Vikki), Jennifer Hamilton, Kristen Arnold (Trent), Jared Hamilton (Kyleigh), Michael Hamilton (Jill), Phillip Hamilton (Megan) and Brandon Hamilton (Adrianne); and his great grandchildren, Holden Elliott Arnold, Allie Nicole Arnold, Charlotte "Lottie" Jane Hamilton and Evan Russell Hamilton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel (2619 St Marys Ave, Hannibal, MO 63401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Salt River Christian Church.
