We bid farewell to Jesse L. Lucas of Hannibal, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Jesse touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jesse may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Lucas and Frances Epperson Lucas; and his wife Linda R. Williamson. He is survived by: his children, Jana Garner (Larry) of Hannibal, MO and Jeffrey L. Lucas of San Diego, CA; his brother Darrell E. Lucas of Bowling Green, MO; his grandchildren, Rihannan McClelland (CJ Burkhart) and Lucas P. McClelland; and his great grandchild Frances L. Burkhart.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Frankford Presbyterian Church.
