He is survived by: his sons, Jay Carey of Hannibal, MO and Jeffery Carey (Loretta) of Richardson, TX; his siblings, Tom Carey (Mary Ann) of Springfield, IL, Paul Carey (Jackie) of Springfield, IL and Sandy Carey Spengler of Springfield, IL; his sister-in-law Annie Foutes of Benson; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jayson, Heather, Alexandra, Morgan and Brock.
