She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ross Cornelius and Alberta James Cornelius; her husband Dave Ward; her daughter Cindy Betts; and her siblings, Bobby Cornelius, Art Cornelius and Lela Underhill.
She is survived by: her sons, Brad Burge (Tammy) of Louisville, KY and Cory Yarbrough (Susan) of Hannibal, MO; her stepchildren, Debbie Mastin (Greg) of Hannibal, MO, Chris Yarbrough (Martha) of West Plains, MO and Robin Smith (Dennis) of Hannibal, MO; and her brother Lewis Cornelius of Hannibal, MO. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions may be made to Maple Lawn Nursing Home Activity Fund.
