He was predeceased by: his father Ery Anna "Billie" Steele Franklin; his wife Frances "Jerri" Epperson; his brother Jake Sharp; and his grandson Dylan Sharp. He is survived by: his son Tommy Sharp (Carol) of Blue Ridge, GA; his granddaughter Ashlee Godfrey of Dalton, GA; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah Sharp, Hailey Bramblett, Westin Godfrey and Cadyn Sharp.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home (302 S 5th St, Hannibal, MO 63401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
