He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Meyer and June Meyer (Barr); his in-laws, Don and Lela Severin; and his son Stacey Kusel.
He is survived by: his wife Donna (Severin) of Hannibal; his children, Kale Meyer, Mindy Meyer (Tony Holub), Heath Kusel (Michele) and Heather Kusel; his grandchildren, Austin Wiesenhofer, McKensy Wiesenhofer, Kesha Armstrong (Joey), Chase Kusel and Zach Kusel; his daughter-in-law Beth Kusel; and his brother Larry Meyer (Charmon).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (92 5th Ave, Keystone, IA 52249). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the Keystone Cemetery (1427 71st St, Keystone, IA 52249).
