Shirley Sanders Collier Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Sanders Collier of Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, O. Richard Sanders and Dorothy Sanders (Robinson); and her sister Mary Lu Sanders. She is survived by: her husband Peter Collier of Hannibal; her daughters, Robin Wilson (Dean) and Mary Saale (Kurt); her grandchildren, Katie Abbott (Tony), Emily Walt (Thomas), Will Ingmire and Jake Ingmire; and her great grandchildren, Maddie Abbott, Theo Walt and Charles Peter Walt.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oakwood Christian Church (3324 St Charles St, Hannibal, MO 63401). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Culver-Stockton College at https://4agc.com for the Shirley S. Collier Scholarship, benefiting students entering a field of service to children.
