She is survived by: her former husband James Ernest Whitaker; her family, Yorkies, Melissa, Ava and Katie; her close friend Donald DeJaynes; her daughters, Sharon Kay Whitaker, Christine Walker (Jimmy) and Faith Woodridge (Matthew); and her son-in-law Terry Abney. She is also survived by several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
