With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vernon Alton Finlaw of Hannibal, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maude Finlaw and Alton Finlaw; his former wife Dorothy; his wife Melody; his sons, David and Vernon; his stepson Randy; and his brother Dana.
He is survived by: his son Larry Brown; his siblings, Evelyn Simpson, Elvira Forman and Louis Williams Sr.; and his close friends, Mandy Gray, Stephanie Cunningham and Jason Pipkin. He is also survived by many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a meaningful way to honor him— like buying a milkshake and sitting with someone who needs company, drinking coffee with some friends or just sitting around a fire.
