He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schlumpberger and Olive Schlumpberger (Wintrode); his granddaughter Tiffane; his great grandchild Dylan; and his siblings, Joan, Anita, Rita, LeRoy, Dennis and Bernard.
He is survived by: his wife Joan (Sudbeck); his children, Brenda Honeycutt of Oak Grove, Natalie Belcher (Allen) of Lincoln, Jeff Schlumpberger (Kristin) of Liberty, Greg Schlumpberger (Susan) of South Jordan and Julie Neill (Eric) of Freeman, Missouri; and his brother Francis Schlumpberger (Mary) of Rapid City. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
A rosary will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (2700 E Mechanic St, Harrisonville, MO 64701). Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64138).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Harbour Hospice, and sent in care to Dickey Funeral Home P.O. Box 432 Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
