He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oral Carroll Sr. and Eva Helen O'Dea Carroll; and his siblings, Bobby Joe Carroll, Coretta Johnson, Lina Lou Allen, Jesse Irene Paxton, Margie Craig and Wanda K. Wainscott.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Carroll of Harrisonville, Missouri; his sons, Leland C. Carroll (Linda) of Peculiar and Gary W. Carroll (Carel) of Archie, Missouri; and his brother Tommy Carroll of Appleton City, Missouri. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
