He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Caruthers and Thelma Caruthers (Leonard). He is survived by: his wife Heather Caruthers; his children, Brent Caruthers and Kristi Caruthers; his grandchildren, Sean Caruthers of Harrisonville, MO, Colin Caruthers of Harrisonville, MO and LeAine Caruthers of Harrisonville, MO; his niece Shera Vu (Triet); his nephew Ray, Jr. Sims (Trisha); Keiran Vu of Harrisonville, MO.
