He was predeceased by: his parents, John Garrett and Hazel Garrett (Cantrell); his parents-in-law, Ellis and Juanita Burton; his siblings-in-law, David, Mary Ann Burton, Ron Surber and Donna Burton; and his son Brett Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, Kim and Donny; his wife Virginia; his children-in-law, Tracy Smith and Rhonda Garrett; his grandchildren, Erin Feeney (Derek), Travis Smith (Melanie), Tyler Garrett (Maddie) and Hope Garrett (Colton Branstine); his great grandchildren, Neva Anne and Calvin James Feeney; his siblings, David Garrett (Shirley), Darlus Fidler (Kenny) and Denise Barbarick (Dennis); and his brothers-in-law, Bob Burton and Harold Burton. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heart of Life Church (96 Old Hwy 7, Garden City, MO 64747). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
