We announce the death of Eldora Cantrell of Harrisonville, Missouri, who passed away on October 28, 2026, at the age of 88. Eldora will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Eldora will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Eldora will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Eldora’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cantrell and Irene Cantrell; and her sister Carol Hines. She is survived by: her sister Glenda R. Parker; her niece Teresa Hodge (Jerome) of Olathe, KS; her nephew Billy Duane Hines II (Kim) of Topeka, KS; and her great-nephews, Joshua Hines of Topeka, KS, Jeremiah Hodge and Lucas Hines of Topeka, KS.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dickey Funeral Home (2401 E Mechanic St, Harrisonville, MO 64701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
