She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester A Mawson and Leeta Maude Mawson (Hodges); her sisters, Mary Plank and Darlene Helman; and her son-in-law Steve Hon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Cheek of Harrisonville, MO and Dianne Hon of LaTour, MO; her grandsons, Will Hon (Monica) of Peculiar, MO and Justin Cheek of Harrisonville, MO; her stepgrandson Jeremy Cheek (Ashley) of Kearney, MO; her great grandchildren, Brielle and Keely Hon; her stepgreat-granddaughter Brooklynn Cheek; her sisters, Edna and Phyllis Brafman (Frank); and her pet Jack.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Dickey Funeral Homes (2401 E Mechanic St, Harrisonville, MO 64701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Fellowship Church (302 S Missouri St, Archie, MO 64725).
