We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Jo Ann Swearengin of Harrisonville, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Gattenby and Verna Gattenby (Sprague); her husband Vern Ray Swearengin; her adoptive son Robert Wesley Swearengin; and her siblings, Ralph, Keith Gattenby, Dora Mae Hawk and Norma Jean Anderson.

She is survived by : her daughters, Lois Milam of Harrisonville, MO and Marcella Powers (Andy) of Garden City, MO; her sister Peggy Jurgensmeyer (Roger) of Belton, MO; her grandchildren, Sarah Randolph (Lance), Drew Powers (Randi), James Milam (Lisa) and Blake Powers (Samantha); and her great grandchildren, Tucker Randolph, Hunter Milam, Fisher Randolph, Blakely Milam, Audrey Powers, Emma Powers, Wesley Powers and Wade Powers.
