He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Dolen and Jane Dolen (Merk); his wife Phyllis Dolen (Heidrich); his brother Fred; and his brother-in-law Tom Schuler.
He is survived by: his daughter Angie Graham; his granddaughters, Aften, Huntre, Avery and Mable; his sister Nancy Schuler; his sibling's children, Stacy Bouma (Mike), Jennifer VanGilder (Mike) and Joe Schuler (Alex); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Trenton, Thomas, Ryan, Jane, Olivia and Ella.
