It is with sadness that the passing of Nancy Ann Sipes (Harrisonville, Missouri) is shared. Nancy Ann, born on July 26, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on August 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Woodrome and Dovie Woodrome (Gunderson); her sisters, Barbra Raydean Woodrome, Marion Meents, Lillian Clemons, Grace Sanders, Joyce Henry and Martha Case; her sons, Lloyd Russell Carter and Richard Walter Carter; her granddaughter Monica Denise Sipes; and her pet Lilly.
She is survived by: her sister Rose Painter of Sedalia, Missouri; her children, Charlene Pinkney (Walt) of Summerville, Cindy Ferguson (Johnny) of Holden, Barbara Grey (Bill) of Oak Harbor, Washington, Charlie Sipes (Lea) of Pleasant Hill and Tim Sipes (Dena) of Glendale, Arizona; and her stepson Michael Sipes of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many wonderful lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House.
