He is survived by: his wife Patricia Whiteshield (Patti) of Harrisonville, MO; his children, Robert Nelson (Bobby) of Harrisonville, MO, Gaylene Crouser (Sunny) of Belton, MO and Charmaine Brungardt (Steve) of Archie, MO; his sister Shirley Warfield (Joe) of Lemmon, SD; his grandchildren, Heather Mefford, Donovan Ferretti, Scott Crouser, Logan Nelson, Charlie Crouser, Hollie Krauser, Ashton Brungardt and Alexis Brungardt; and his great grandchildren, Trent Ewbank, James Ewbank, Olivia Mefford, Rhylynn Beck and Quinton Lee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dickey Funeral Homes (2401 E Mechanic St, Harrisonville, MO 64701). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
