He was predeceased by: his parents, Gayles Hastings and Martha Lucille Peery; and his sister Becky Hastings. He is survived by: his children, Renee Crust (Donald Crust) of Harrisonville, MO and Sasha Cummons (Chris Rushly); his siblings, Kathy (Jim Minshall), Wendy Hastings-Surber of Osceola, MO, Willie Hastings of Collins, MO and Lori Jane Spencer of Grandview, MO; his grandchildren, Taryn Huskey (Cody Kauffman) of Harrisonville, MO, Felecia Chalmers (Blake Chalmers) of Peculiar, MO and Gavin Cummons (Jasmyn Berry) of Belton, MO; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Knox, Ridge, Luka and Livia.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Cass County Elks Lodge 2402 (2402 Rte 291, Harrisonville, MO 64701).
