It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Mae Goforth of Harrisonville, Missouri, born in Hume, Missouri, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John William and Frances Jewel Wright (Henley); her former life partner Cloyd "C. L." Galloway; her husband Ray Goforth; her son-in-law Barry Hogge; her daughter Linda Burnett; and her brothers, Charles Calvin and John L. Wright.
She is survived by : her daughters, Leta Hogge of Gladstone, MO and Deborah Millikan of Harrisonville, MO; her grandchildren, Sean Hogge (MaryBeth), Nick Hogge, Angela Hollingsworth, Buddy Hollingsworth, Jr., Lori Littlejohn and Douglas Halley; her great grandchildren, Lorelei, Whitney, Mariem, Sarah, Michael, Eric, Hailey, Alyssa, Dedra, Shiloh, Dallas and Jackson; her great great grandchild Layla; her brother-in-law Gary Goforth; her nephews, Matt Goforth and Phillip Goforth (Amy); her great-nephew Grant; and her great-niece Gracie.
