We announce the death of Jackie Owens of Hartville, Missouri, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 75. Jackie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Chester and Nora Myrtle Owens (Mace); and his siblings, Darlene Gardner, Sharon Marie Owens, Archie Owens, Bobby Owens, Wayne Owens and Charlie Cook.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason Owens (Staci) of Deepwater, MO and Jessee Owens (Amanda) of Willard, MO; his grandchildren, Sarah Byers (Marshall), Emma Owens, Jessee Owens (McKenna), Jackson Owens, Atalie Owens and Jacob Owens; his great grandchildren, Lilly Owens and Colsen Byers; and his siblings, Jerry Owens of McLouth, KS, Wanda Robinson of Glenmora, LA and Sandra DeBoard of Rogersville, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Hartville (280 N Main Ave, Hartville, MO 65667). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (4491 S Hwy E, Norwood, MO 65717).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery, in care of the funeral home.
