He was predeceased by: his parents, Arque "Pete" McDaris and Violet "Marie" McDaris (Stigall); and his brother Richard McDaris. He is survived by: his wife Nancy McDaris; his children, Wesley McDaris (Holly) and Wendy Williamson; his grandchildren, Laken Hensley (Seth), Julie Connell (Matthew), Victoria Monzon, Topanga Williamson, Jasmine Honeycutt (Gabe) and Brandon Williamson; his great grandchildren, Warner Hensley, Cheyenne Connell, Olivia Connell and Isaiah Honeycutt; and his siblings, Russell McDaris (Wilma), Nancy Breshears (Dan) and Reba Thurman (Danny). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Green Valley Baptist Church or Coon Creek Cemetery, in care of the funeral home.
