She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Clarence and Amy Carlson (Spencer); her husband Joseph Earl Thomas; and her sisters, Ruthie St. John and Clara Carlson.

She is survived by: her sons, Joe Thomas (Janet) of Arenzville, IL and Ed Thomas (Carolyn) of Harwood, MO; and her grandchildren, Tad Thomas, Leandra Redhair, Toby Thomas and Jim Thomas. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Church of the Nazarene c/o Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
