With sadness, we share the passing of Gayla Middleton of Hayti, Missouri. Gayla, born on June 23, 1949 in Wardell, Missouri, passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Barymon and Ollie Mae Barymon; and her siblings, Donald Barymon, Peggy Hooker, Shelby Hawlett and Charlene Barymon.
She is survived by: her children, Doyletta Thrasher (John) of Pascola, MO., Lee Middleton (Pam) of Caruthersville, MO., Mandy Middleton of Kennett, MO. and Justin Middleton (Sarah) of Steele, MO.; her grandchildren, Johnathan Thrasher (Kaylee), Matt Middleton, Abby Blagg (Casey Redden), Luke Blagg (Emily) and Eli Middleton; and her great grandchildren, John David Thrasher, Stella Beth Thrasher, Addy Redden, Aiden Redden, Avery Blagg and Creed Blagg.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John W. German Funeral Home (208 N 3rd St, Hayti, MO 63851). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
