Mary Janice Lewis Obituary

We announce the death of Mary Janice Lewis of Hayti, Missouri, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 73. Mary Janice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Inmon and Audrey Dean Inmon; her grandparents, Clarence, Elizabeth Corley, Tom and Tracy Inmon; her son Cody Lewis; and her sisters, Judy Posey and Lane Davis.

She is survived by: her significant other Frank Atlas Lewis; her daughter Tracy Lewis Hoover; her son-in-law Mark Hoover of Hayti, Missouri; her sisters, Ginger Bean (Eddie Bean) and Lynn Gaskin (Terry Gaskin); and her brother-in-law Tim Posey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be given to First Baptist Church Hayti, MO to provide Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
