It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley J. Maddox (Hazelwood, Missouri), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Krista Ann Maddox; and her parents, Angela Slaus and Andrew Slaus. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Russell Maddox; her children, Andrea Maddox-Dallas (Jim Dallas), Glenn Maddox (Stephanie) and Angela Maddox Cobb (Jeff); her grandchildren, Andrew, Greg, Oleg Dallas, Ashley Graham (Cody), Christina Frost (Kyle), Michael Maddox (Nadia), Kaitlyn Maddox, Christian Cobb and Jacob Cobb; and her great grandchildren, Jayce, Abigail Dallas, Faith, Cayde Graham and Adeline Frost.
The family wishes to thank Barnes-Jewish Hospice Care staff and Shirley's numerous relatives and friends for their compassion and support through her journey through Alzheimer's disease. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Missouri Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
