He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Runge; and his parents, Henry Runge and Ethelyn Runge. He is survived by: his sons, William Runge Jr. and Steven Runge; and his daughters-in-law, Doris Runge and Cindy Runge. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (601 N 4th St, St Charles, MO 63301). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (5150 Fee Fee Rd, Hazelwood, MO 63042).
