He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy W. Covey and Josephine Covey (Stevens); and his siblings, Eddie Covey, Randy Covey and Elsie Odonell.
He is survived by: his children, Dustin Covey (Kristen) of Mayview, David Covey of Odessa and Brittany Covey (Cade) of Norborne; his stepdaughter Tiffany Adams (Angela Kirkham) of Arkansas; his grandchildren, Carson, Sophia, Olivia, Easton and Paisley; and his siblings, Billy Covey of Richmond and Joanne Judd of Richmond.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the The Friends of the Farris (110 S Camden St, Richmond, MO 64085).
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ricky Covey Memorial Fund.
