It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leon Johnson of Herculaneum, Missouri, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Leon departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Leon. Though Leon may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Johnson and Edna Johnson (Neilsen); his wife Jane Johnson; his daughter Debra K Johnson; and his sister Edith Eaton.
He is survived by: his children, Leon Johnson (Diane) of Polk City, Mark Johnson (Angela) of Ellenton, Cammy Johnson (Charles) of Leeseburg and Kim McDonald (Marlon Reese) of Florissant. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty eight great-grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mahn Funeral Home, DeSoto Chapel (900 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
