She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Diederich and Meta Diederich (Vohs); her husband John A. Schmidt; and her sister Lillie Sessler. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Connie Smith of Jefferson City, Missouri, Linda Napier of Hermann, Missouri, Sandra Beckwith of Winter Haven, Florida and Thomas Schmidt of Vandalia, Missouri. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a nephew.
Memorial donations may be given to Hermann United Methodist Church, American Diabetes Association or Hermann Hospital.
