Jerry Lee Thornton Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 16, 2026, at the age of 74, Jerry Lee Thornton of Higbee, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin and Thelma Maxine Thornton (Winn); his brother Roy Thornton of Columbia; and his close friend Steven "Murk" Graves. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Crutcher of Higbee and Casey Thornton of Higbee; his grandchildren, Michael Addison of Higbee, Brayden Thornton of Higbee, Haidyn Aldridge of Higbee and Hailee Aldridge of Higbee; his sister Lisa Bazel of Newbury Park, California; and his sister-in-law Brenda Thornton of Columbia. He is also survived by many cousins, and dear family friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is setting up a family expense account.
