He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Louise; his children, Anna Mae, Susan, Mike and Joseph Jr.; and his grandchildren, PJ, Jason, Julie, Ashley, Tiffany, Amber, Joey and Amanda.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel (411 Union Ave, Moberly, MO 65270-2548). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the Higbee City Cemetery (647 County Rd 2530, Higbee, MO 65257).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Higbee School Basketball Program, in honor of Jody's love for the Higbee Tigers and the generations of young athletes he proudly supported.
