He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Davis Smith and Wilma F. Taylor; his stepfather Bennie Taylor; and his brother Robbie Smith. He is survived by: his wife LeAn Smith of Higbee, MO; his children, Robert "Bobby" Smith (Shelly) and Lisa Smith Westfall (BJ) of Higbee, MO; his grandchildren, Keaton Smith of Higbee, MO, Jamie Smith of Higbee, MO, Grace Schell (John) of Higbee, MO and Billie Jo Westfall of Higbee, MO; his great grandchild Raelyn Jo Schell of Higbee, MO; his siblings, Rhonda Olson (Mark) of Moberly, MO, Susan Wooten of Excello, MO and James Taylor of Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Smith of Higbee, MO and LuAn Chesshir (Doug) of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
