Rebecca Jo Wright Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Rebecca Jo Wright (Higbee, Missouri). Rebecca, born on September 26, 1951, passed away on August 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest William Wright Sr. and Ola Mae Wright; her siblings, Forrest William Wright Jr. and Lottie Wilson; her children, Ashley Nicole Schmit and Benjamin William Baker; her grandson Kyle Eugene Wetzel; her niece Tangie; and her nephew Richard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Baker and April Baker Roberts (Kenny); her grandchildren, Austin Chase, Ryan Brooks (Ayrehl), Breanna Roberts, Mikayla Chase, Kylie Roberts, Alisabeth Wetzel, Abigail McCormick, Bradley McCormick, Gunner Roberts, Logan Baker, Kira Ames, William Baker, Victoria Wetzel (Tyler Worley), Jacob Duncan and Aiden Baker; and her great grandchildren, Emmersyn Lunsford, Kyler Wetzel, Elliot Wetzel, Emmaline Closser, Janelle Burton, Melody Edjewou, Millie Edjewou, Avery Murray, Everett Wetzel, Oaklynn Murray, Cayde Brooks, Roman Brooks, Cooper McCormick and Feitan Perkins. She is also survived by great-grandchildren on the way; her beloved sister-in-law; and several loving nieces and cousins; along with a community of close friends and neighbors.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Higbee Senior and Community Center (205 Railroad St, Higbee, MO 65257).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Higbee Cemetery Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
