He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldie Johnson and Whittmeyer; and his siblings, Leonard, Ernest, Roy, Richard Johnson, Marion Need, Betty Bell and Mabel Goring.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Johnson (Staton); his children, Lawrence "Butch" Johnson II (Barbara) of California, Ryan Johnson (Nikki) of Higginsville, Teresa Loges of Higginsville and Linda Cooper (Brian) of Higginsville; and his sister Lorene Himes of Oklahoma City, OK. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as extended family.
