Carol Katherine Morehead Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Katherine Morehead of Higginsville, Missouri, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Carol shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carol farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Semler and Katherine Myrtle Semler (Goodloe); and her brother Clint W. Semler. She is survived by: her husband Virgil K. Morehead; and her children, Brenda Cox (David) of Warrensburg, MO, Shelli Weitkamp (Alan) of Lexington, MO and Derrick Morgan (Heidi) of Higginsville, MO. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church in Lexington.
